Panoramic Imagination and the Radius of Empathy
Join us for a lecture by Professor Jung-Yeon Ma, Panoramic Imagination and the Radius of Empathy , held in conjunction with Yang Ah Ham: Undefined Panorama at the Ground, Art Sonje Center.
*This lecture was previously announced under the title The Operating Method of a Panoramic Imagination.
About the lecture
Panoramic Imagination and the Radius of Empathy offers a new perspective on Undefined Panorama, Yang Ah Ham’s long-term artistic research project, ongoing since 2018. Taking the concept of “panorama” as a starting point, the lecture explores the panoramic imagination embodied in Yang Ah Ham’s work and the mechanisms behind it. Drawing on The Radius of Empathy (2022) by Dayk Jang, introduced during the ASJC Reading List held on July 2, the lecture offers a deeper lens through which to understand Yang Ah Ham’s artistic practice.
