Art Sonje Center hosts “Comment arrive, Silence, Résistance, Dans L’art de Kim Soun Gui”, a conference in accompany of its Kim Soun Gui solo exhibition. Inviting Aaron Levy (Director of Slought), Joon-Sang Park (Professor of Department of Philosophy in Soongsil University), Jean-Michel Rabaté (Professor of English and Comparative Literature at the University of Pennsylvania) as keynote speakers, the conference will elaborate on Kim Soun Gui’s artwork as well as the philosophy of Jean-Luc Nancy and Jacques Derrida. Furthermore, Jean-Luc Nancy will join the event through a skype conversation with Kim Soun Gui and they will exchange their ideas on art resisting against globalization.
