Art Sonje Performance: Kim Nuiyeon & Jeon Yongwan Period

Art Sonje Center presents Period by Kim Nuiyeon & Jeon Yongwan. This performance piece is divided into three sections: Objects, Choreography and Music. Six contributing artists will perform their interpretations of the three scores made by Kim Nuiyeon & Jeon Yongwan over two consecutive days.

Period is about endings. How do endings become endings and how does a work reach completion? When a conclusion is reworked, the ending is postponed and completion deferred. Period embodies the process of arranging, reconsidering, reordering: the sequence rethought, the ending delayed—in order to begin anew.”
