] Art Sonje Center is delighted to announce its co-organization of Heecheon Kim’s solo exhibition at Hayward Gallery, UK. Heecheon Kim: Double Poser delves into Kim’s exploration of technology’s impact on society, merging virtual and tangible realms. This showcase features a new moving image alongside ‘Deep in the Forking Tanks’ (2019), a piece commissioned and produced by Art Sonje Center in 2019. Recently honored with the 2023 Hermès Foundation Missulsang Art Prize, Kim challenges conventional storytelling, manipulating visuals to evoke fresh sensory experiences. His latest commission ‘Double Poser’ at Hayward ingeniously merges computer-generated imagery and video game aesthetics, drawing inspiration from the gallery’s architecture.
