Platform Seoul 2008: I Have Nothing to Say and I am Saying It
Platform Seoul 2008 “I have nothing to say and I am saying it” is a contemporary art exhibit that brings together imagery, sound, light, dance, and theater-all elements that interact with time and space-inviting the viewer to take part not as a “visitor” but as an active “participant”.
It will be displayed in a total of 12 venues, with more than 50 participating artists embarking on experimental contemporary pieces together with images, photographs, installations and performances from historical works to provide a contextual backdrop. Created as an experimental forum for all things related to the communication and production of contemporary art, Platform was begun in 2006 as an annual contemporary art festival to be held each year up to 2010, featuring a major exhibit accompanied by video and film screenings, performances, lectures, talks with artists, symposiums, and public programs.
