About the Lecture
Contemporary art today is no longer confined to the passive act of viewing; it has evolved into a practice that critically engages with and reconfigures the power structures of space and institutions. Using Adrián Villar Rojas: The Language of the Enemy as a point of departure, this lecture explores the development of site-specific art and the history of critical interventions within art institutions. Together, we will reflect on how art has continuously raised unsettling and provocative questions within the institutional framework of the museum.
