 Main Exhibition

The exhibition programs at the Artsonje Center consist of main exhibitions on the second and third floors and more freer forms of projects are held in the parking lot and the cafe. In the solo exhibitions and group exhibitions held at Artsonje, we deal with the current issues in contemporary art, and we introduce young artists with an international edge. We support the invited artists to deepen their understanding of the space and the location, and realize new projects through this process.
Through the residency program held at the Hanok house (Korean traditional house adjacent to the center), the participating artists realize their ideas by having the benefit of support and the opportunity for discussion and research. By limiting the number of the yearly exhibitions from 3 to 4 times, Artsonje assures the creation of rich soil for close contact between the artist and the context
